Great selection for a couple of nights in San Diego with good value for price. Location is fantastic.

I chose Hampton Inn downtown San Diego solely for its convenient location near Petco Park, where I wanted to catch a baseball game. The free shuttle service was a pleasant surprise, and the complimentary continental breakfast was a lovely way to start the morning before exploring the city.
No chocolate chip cookies till 6:00 pm.

Good breakfast with waffles, eggs, and sausage. Convenient location, close to the airport and conference center. Friendly staff and nicely decorated facilities. Minimal noise from passing trains.
Felt immediately at home, nothing to complain about.

we had a great stay at hampton inn. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the location near water and little italy was convenient for us. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast and snacks were a nice touch. we got a room on a high floor as requested, and the area felt safe.
